This year, Teatro ECAS is celebrating our 25th anniversary of bringing Spanish language theater to Rhode Island and beyond.

Co-founded in 1997 by Francis Parra, Teatro ECAS is New England's leading Latinx performing arts organization, and the only Spanish language repertory theater company in the region. Our year-round programming includes stage productions, after-school programs, theatrical workshops for all ages, and summer theater camps.  

We are proud of all we have achieved and are thrilled to announce that as part of this milestone year, we are also moving into our first, permanent home in the Valley Arts District in Providence.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, November 19, 2022, for a momentous night of celebration as we celebrate our future and honor our past. As part of the evening, we will welcome renowned Cuban-Mexican actor Francisco Gattorno who will speak about the power of theater and the positive impact it has giving place and context to our lived experiences.
